The Richard J. Riordan Central Library, the main branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, on West 5th Street in the Financial District. A free public and research library and cultural institution housed in the landmark 1926 Bertram Goodhue building and its later Tom Bradley wing, it holds one of the largest collections of any public library in the country.
