What Makes South Park Worth Exploring
South Park is DTLA’s entertainment and events district, built around LA Live, Crypto.com Arena, and the Los Angeles Convention Center. The neighborhood runs roughly from Figueroa to Flower Street, south of 9th Street to Pico Boulevard. It is where most visitors to Downtown LA end up on game nights, concert nights, and convention weekends.
Entertainment and Culture
The GRAMMY Museum at 800 West Olympic Boulevard is an interactive museum covering the history of recorded music. Rotating exhibits, instrument displays, and a recording studio experience. Admission is required; check the museum site for current hours and pricing.
Where to Eat and Drink
Cana Rum Bar at 714 West Olympic Boulevard has one of the largest rum collections in Los Angeles, with Caribbean-inspired food and cocktails.
Hotels
Hotel Figueroa at 939 South Figueroa Street opened in 1926 as a women’s club and is now a boutique hotel with a well-known pool deck and bar. The Hoxton at 1060 South Broadway has a rooftop restaurant and a ground-floor lobby bar open to non-guests.

Getting Around South Park
Metro E Line (Expo) stops at Pico Station (Flower/Pico). Metro B/D Lines stop at 7th Street/Metro Center at the district’s northern edge. The Figueroa corridor connects north to the Financial District and Bunker Hill. The Fashion District is east across Main Street.
